Strawberry mango nice kreme + strawberry picking

You can call me "sir eat a lot" ... of nice kreme! ;)
First of all, happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there! Once my dad gets home from work this morning, I'm going to whip him up something special to eat. I haven't decided what to make just yet, but I know it will involve freshly picked strawberries that I picked yesterday! Here, have a glimpse into berry heaven...
At first, we went into this small field and the strawberries were few and far between. They were so tiny! About 10 minutes into it, a guy who worked there came around with his tractor and offered us a ride to a different field that they had just opened for picking. My parents and I went to the other field and as soon as we saw it, the giant berries began to sing our names! They were staring right at us, waiting to be picked. We picked the abundant, sweetest, ripest, and juiciest strawberries in the universe! When I got home from that marvelous experience, I washed a big bowl of strawberries and ate a bunch. They were so indescribably sweet.
This morning when I put some in my nice kreme, they were even sweeter. Could it get even better from here? Well, yes! Here is the nice kreme recipe, just in case you wanted to whip some up for yourself!

Ingredients:
  • 5-7 small frozen and chopped bananas
  • 2 Tbs water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 10 big strawberries, sliced
  • 1 mango, sliced
  • Optional (1 Tbs coconut sugar)

Directions:
Blend bananas in blender with water and vanilla.
Transfer to a bowl and then add fruit. Stir it around to make it all pretty :)
Add coconut sugar on top if you so desire. (I forgot to use some in mine but I highly recommend it!)

I also love eating out of wooden bowls, if you haven't already noticed. It just takes the experience to a whole new level of yum!
